Basketball England have released their league structures for the 2022/23 NBL season, confirming the Manchester Swarm entries for the upcoming season.
Following a successful 2021/22 campaign, the Swarm have entries in the Senior Men, Under 18 Men, Under 16 Boys, and Under 14 Boys leagues, and will be running a development academy programme for Under 12s and younger.
The Senior Men continue in Division 3 North West, where they finished 2nd in their first season. The Under 18 Men will be represented by a single team in the North West conference. The Under 16 Boys return to the North West II conference, as will the Under 14 boys.
Director of Basketball Mbongeni Mpofu said: "We're all excited to get right back down to work in 2022/23. We saw strong development across the board in our debut season, and I'm keen to kick on from there. I'm particularly enthusiastic about our Under 12 academy provision. We have strong partnerships in place which will be announced soon. These will help us drive forward and expand our provision."
