Manchester Basketball Club are pleased to welcome into the organisation two of the city's basketball stalwarts in Jeff Jones and Graham Herstell as we begin the next phase of our club development following a productive period post-founding.
Jeff Jones joins MBC as an officer, following a distinguished career as a player and coach, including roles at Derby Storm, Manchester Magic, Manchester Giants, and Manchester Mystics, winning several trophies and awards. He also coached at national team level with England and Great Britain, most recently with the Under 20 women in 2019.
Graham Herstell joins in a consultancy capacity, bringing his expertise and experience from various roles in the sports industry. He was instrumental in the relaunch of the Manchester Giants in 2012, leading a consortium that revived the historic brand and secured a place in the top-tier British Basketball League (BBL). Graham will amongst other responsibilities assist in the club adopting a new platform to compliment the existing coaching strategies at the club.
Manchester Basketball Club are excited to have Jeff and Graham on board, as they bring valuable knowledge, skills and passion to the club. They will help MBC achieve our goals and ambitions, both on and off the court.
