Manchester Swarm are seeking to fill the roles of assistant coach and team manager for the senior men's team ahead of the 2022/23 season. Both roles are voluntary.
Swarm senior men compete in the NBL Division 3 North West, finishing second in 2021/22. They advanced to the playoffs where they reached the quarter final stage, before bowing out to Worcester Wolves. They are led by former Manchester Magic/Mystics and Lancashire Spinners coach Mbongeni Greg Mpofu.
Head coach Mpofu said: "We're at the right point in our development where we want to push on from last season, and having quality support in the team is going to be vital to that. Having started out as an assistant coach myself, I appreciate the role and what the right individual can bring. It's ideal for anyone seeking to gain experience working at senior national league level.
Alongside that is the little spoken about, but just as valuable role of team manager. The vast majority of basketbll clubs in Britain rely strongly on these key people, and they allow us coaches to focus most of our energies on the court."
